Rejuvenated Ghana Black Stars striker Antoine Semenyo was in electrifying form as he played the full 90 minutes, scored a brace, and provided an assist in AFC Bournemouth’s 3-1 home victory over Fulham FC Official during Matchday 7 of the 2025/26 English Premier League.
Fulham initially took the lead in the 70th minute, but Semenyo responded in style, scoring in the 78th minute to level the game at 1-1. He then set up Justin Kluivert in the 84th minute for Bournemouth’s second goal, giving his side a 2-1 lead. To cap off a sensational performance, Semenyo sealed the win in injury time with his second goal in the 90+6th minute.
With this performance, Semenyo has now scored 6 goals and registered 3 assists in just 7 league matches, helping Bournemouth climb to 2nd place on the table with 14 points. His display earned him a 9.2 match rating and the Player of the Match Award.
Currently, he is regarded as the best Ghanaian player in the world, boasting 26 Premier League goals, second only to Jordan Ayew’s 42 goals.
