Renowned Kumawood actor Berma Bediide has strongly denied claims of the collapse of Ghana’s movie industry, especially Kumawood.
In a recent interview, he rejected the accusations, emphasizing that the sector is thriving.
Bediide highlighted that many actors, producers, and crew members are actively involved in new projects.
He criticized critics, saying that those claiming the industry has collapsed are out of touch with reality, as Kumawood is visible on television and smartphones.
He urged Ghanaians to disregard such baseless claims, reaffirming that the local film sector is far from dead.
