American YouTube megastar Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as Mr Beast, has been enstooled as a traditional chief in Ghana following his major philanthropic projects in parts of the country.
Why Mr Beast Was Honoured

Reports indicate that Mr Beast spent over $1 million on projects aimed at transforming underserved communities. His contributions significantly improved access to education and basic amenities for many children and families.

What the Chieftaincy Title Means
In Ghanaian tradition, enstoolment is a revered cultural ceremony where an individual is installed as a chief in recognition of service, leadership, or contribution to a community. Such titles are often honorary when given to foreigners and do not carry political power under Ghana’s constitutional system.
Mr Beast’s installation highlights Ghana’s appreciation for individuals who contribute meaningfully to local development and social progress.
Global Impact Meets Ghanaian Tradition
Mr Beast, known worldwide for his large-scale giveaways and humanitarian projects, has funded wells, surgeries, homes, and educational initiatives across several countries. His enstoolment in Ghana reflects the strong cultural value placed on gratitude and community recognition.
The move has sparked conversations online, with many praising the gesture as a symbol of international goodwill and collaboration.
