The Director-General of Prisons, Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (ESQ), has actively engaged participants at the First Annual National Forum on Women in Government and Media, held at the Jubilee House on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

The high-level forum was organized under the theme “Leadership, Visibility and Public Trust”, bringing together influential women across government institutions and the media landscape to discuss strategies for strengthening transparency, representation, and credibility in public service.
The event, hosted at the Jubilee House, highlighted the growing role of women in shaping governance, public discourse, and institutional accountability in Ghana.
High-Profile Dignitaries in Attendance
Dignitaries present included the Vice President, Her Excellency Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman, Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah, Hon. Felix Ofosu Kwakye, as well as several prominent personalities from government agencies and leading media organizations.
Mrs. Baffoe-Bonnie’s participation underscored the Ghana Prisons Service’s commitment to inclusive leadership and strengthened collaboration between state institutions and the media.
