Acclaimed Ghanaian actor Ras Nene has hinted at stepping away from the acting scene after returning from the UK with his protégé, Kyekyeku.
In a recent video, Ras Nene revealed his plans to retire from acting, citing frustration with some of his mentees who fail to heed his advice.
He shared, “I’m considering quitting acting within two weeks. I’m overwhelmed by numerous challenges, including the arrogance of those I mentor after they achieve fame.”
Ras Nene also noted that his YouTube channel has been inactive for over a year. He expressed a need to refocus on his personal life, saying, “I must concentrate on myself now. My channel hasn’t seen any new content for more than a year, and working on other people’s projects has led to conflicts and discontent among my colleagues.”
