Ghanaian boxer Ayitey Powers has shared his deep grief over the sudden passing of Prophet TB Joshua, the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Nigeria. Ayitey Powers, who had a close personal relationship with the late prophet, often turned to him for guidance on various issues.
He expressed regret over delaying a visit to the church that TB Joshua had invited him to, only to learn of the prophet’s death through the media.
During an interview with Giovani Caleb on TV3, Ayitey Powers revealed that the loss of Prophet TB Joshua impacted him more profoundly than the deaths of his own parents.
Reflecting on the situation, he said, “Sometimes, when I think about his passing, I realize that God truly works in mysterious ways. How could Prophet TB Joshua die at such a time? He invited me to his church, and I planned to visit in two weeks, but he passed away before I could go. He even mentioned that he wouldn’t celebrate his birthday, and none of us knew he was going to die. We shared many conversations, and his death hurts me more than the loss of my mother and father.”
