Ghanaian musician Darkovibes recently shared his reasons for using marijuana before studio sessions and performances.
In an interview with 3FM on October 1, 2024, he revealed that it helps relax his mind, especially after long recording periods or when preparing for back-to-back performances at concerts.
Darkovibes stated that marijuana is recreational and helps ease mental strain from singing and recording, sometimes for days.
He also highlighted that he no longer carries it in public and fully cooperates with authorities during searches, pointing out that Ghana’s Narcotics Control Commission Act permits cannabis for medicinal and industrial purposes.
