Ghanaian comic actor and content creator, Dr. Likee, also known as Akabenezer, has announced the release of his latest movie centered around illegal mining, commonly referred to as galamsey.
Speaking during an interview on The Bonah Show, Dr. Likee revealed that this upcoming film will address the ongoing environmental concerns related to galamsey, which has caused severe damage to the country’s water bodies and forests.
Although he has previously produced content on the subject, he emphasized that this movie will be the main highlight, premiering next month.
“The film isn’t politically motivated,” Dr. Likee clarified. “It’s meant to raise awareness and advise against galamsey, as our water bodies are in a dreadful state compared to other countries where they are well-preserved.”
