Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey is expected to be available for Arsenal’s Premier League match against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, October 19, after recovering from an injury.
Partey had initially been called up for Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers against Sudan but withdrew as a precaution.
His absence was felt in the Black Stars’ goalless draw and 2-0 loss to Sudan, which left Ghana in a challenging spot for AFCON qualification.
The midfielder’s decision to sit out was made to prevent further injury.
Arsenal fans can now anticipate his return, which will be a boost to Mikel Arteta’s squad as they aim to continue their strong league campaign.
