Samira Suleman, the celebrated former Ghanaian national team forward, has achieved a major milestone by earning her UEFA Certificate in Football Management.
After an illustrious playing career with the Black Queens and Hasaacas Ladies, Suleman is now paving her coaching path in Iceland, where she mentors a youth team. Her coaching journey began after she played for Vikingur Olafsvik in Iceland and Robert Morris Eagles in the U.S.
The course, hosted by UEFA Academy and Université de Lausanne, is regarded as a significant credential in football management, and Suleman completed it with distinction.
Michael Essien, another Ghanaian football icon, extended his congratulations, calling her achievement inspiring for aspiring coaches. With both former players now certified, they are seen as hopefuls for coaching roles with Ghana’s national teams.
