Legendary football superstar, Samuel Eto’o during his visit to the Ecobank today met his long time friend who is now a security guard, recognized him and gave him 10 million Fcfa.
As it turns out, Samuel Eto’o and this security guard started playing football together when they were kids but unfortunately for him, he didn’t make and after doing a series of menial jobs hoping he’ll one day make it as professional footballer, he finally realized that it was time to move on and find something else to do.
So he took a job as a security officer and has been doing it for years now.
But as fate may have it, Samuel Eto’o visited the Ecobank where he works today and on his way out, he saw the security guard and recognized him, even the security guard who clearly knew he used to play with Eto’o was scared to talk to him but Eto’o called him hugged him, asked how he was doing. And after hearing his condition, took him took him to his car and wrote him a 10,000,000 Fcfa chèque for him to set up a business.
