Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky declared wanted by Russia

Although the amount of news about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine may have decreased, it has changed.

This is the outcome of Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, being listed as a wanted person in Russia by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian Interior Ministry database, according to the official Russian media, indicated that President Zelenskiy was on a wanted list but provided no other information.

An International Criminal Court warrant may also lead to the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the foreign ministry of Ukraine said in a statement.

The foreign ministry released a statement saying, “We would like to remind you that, unlike the worthless Russian announcements, an International Criminal Court warrant for the arrest of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on suspicion of war crimes is quite real and subject to implementation in 123 countries.”

The Russian statement was characterized as “evidence of the desperation of the Russian state machine and propaganda, which can think of no other way to attract attention.”

Numerous leaders from Ukraine and other European nations have arrest warrants out for them from Russia since the start of the conflict with that country in February 2022.

Members of the former Latvian parliament, Lithuania’s minister of culture, and Estonia’s prime minister, Kaja Kallas, were put on a wanted list by the Russian authorities in February for destroying monuments from the Soviet era.

In addition, Russia issued an arrest warrant for the ICC prosecutor who had produced Putin’s war crimes warrant the year before.
