A Country Called Ghana: The promotion of my movie cost me 15 Billion cedis – Lilwin

In a recent revelation, Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has once again highlighted the significant financial commitment he made towards his latest film, “A Country Called Ghana”.

Not only did Lilwin allocate a hefty sum ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 Ghanaian Cedis just to secure the talents of Nollywood star Ramsey Nouah, but he also poured considerable resources into the film’s promotion.

During an interview, Lilwin shared insights into his promotional strategy.

He emphasized that given the substantial investment in the production, ensuring the movie received ample visibility was crucial.

Therefore, he invested approximately the old currency equivalent of 15 billion Cedis into promoting “A Country Called Ghana”.
