A heartbreaking and deeply disturbing incident has rocked Accra after a Ghanaian soldier, identified as Prince Okrah, allegedly murdered his longtime friend and his pregnant wife in a suspected robbery attack.

From Friendship to Fatal Betrayal
According to reports, Prince Okrah had recently been transferred from Takoradi to Tamale and decided to visit his longtime friend of 15 years, Ebenezer Kwabena Obri, popularly known as Kobby, in Accra.
On the day of his arrival, Kobby reportedly picked him up and briefly stopped to speak with another associate about purchasing petrol worth GH¢100,000 for someone. The conversation allegedly took place in Prince’s presence.
Unaware of the danger ahead, Kobby later took his friend to his residence, widely known as the “Immigration House,” where he lived with his pregnant wife and their 3-year-old daughter.
Alleged Attack Inside the Home
What was meant to be a friendly visit reportedly turned into a gruesome crime scene. Prince Okrah is alleged to have attacked Kobby after learning about the GH¢100,000 cash.
He allegedly stabbed his friend multiple times. In a desperate attempt to save her husband, Kobby’s pregnant wife intervened—but she too was reportedly attacked and killed.
Both victims died inside the apartment, leaving behind their three-year-old daughter, who was found alive at the scene days later.
Gruesome Discovery Days Later
The incident reportedly occurred on April 29 but went unnoticed for days. It was only on May 2 that neighbors became alarmed by a strong odor coming from the apartment.
Upon checking, they made the horrifying discovery of the lifeless bodies, with the young child sitting beside them—an image that has since shaken the nation.
