In a shocking exposé, award-winning sensation Bisa Kdei lifted the lid on the paltry payouts from GHAMRO, Ghana’s music royalty collection agency.
After his chart-topping hits “Brother Brother” and “Mansa” conquered the airwaves, Bisa Kdei was contacted by GHAMRO officials, who claimed his royalties were ready for collection.
But when he inquired about the amount, he was left stunned and dismayed – a meager GHC 500 for two global hits!
Feeling disrespected and undervalued, Bisa Kdei vented his frustration to the official, instructing them to never contact him again if such trivial sums were all they could muster.
In a candid interview with Angel FM, he recounted the infuriating experience, “I got a call about my royalties, and I was excited. But when I asked how much, they told me GHC 500! I told them not to bother calling me again if that’s all they could offer.”
