Ghanaian international and Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo has taken a major step in his personal life by proposing to his longtime girlfriend, Jordeen Buckley, and she said yes.
According to reports, Semenyo asked Buckley to marry him while recovering from an ankle injury that kept him out of Ghana’s friendly match against South Korea. He went down on one knee in a carefully arranged, romantic setting.
Following the proposal, Buckley shared photos of their engagement on her Instagram Stories, including a close-up of the ring and moments of celebration. In her caption, she quoted Song of Solomon 3:4, writing: “I have found the one whom my soul loves.”
The news has delighted fans across Ghana, with many celebrating the union of the striker and the London-based model.
Buckley, a social media influencer and entrepreneur who owns JRosé NailBar in London, has frequently shown her support for Semenyo on social media, including after his successful 2024/25 Premier League season.
