Bukom Banku eyes IGP role if Mahama wins in 2024

Ghanaian boxer Braimah Isaac Kamoko, known as Bukom Banku, has expressed his ambition to become Inspector General of Police (IGP) if former President John Dramani Mahama wins the 2024 elections.

A loyal supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bukom Banku is optimistic that Mahama will reclaim the presidency.

Despite having no formal experience in policing, Bukom Banku is confident he can uphold peace and order in the country, noting, “The role does not need much paperwork. My goal is to ensure there’s peace in Ghana.”

Bukom Banku has also voiced strong support for Mahama, stating that many Ghanaians now regret voting him out. He insists that Mahama is the best candidate to restore economic stability and improve citizens’ lives.
