CAF president Motsepe vows to tackle unsportsmanlike conduct in African football

CAF President Patrice Motsepe has pledged to take action against unsportsmanlike behavior in African football.

His stance follows the controversy during the Nigeria vs. Libya AFCON qualifier, where Nigeria faced delays at a Libyan airport for over 12 hours.

Motsepe addressed broader issues, including claims during the COVID-19 pandemic that host nations falsely declared key players from visiting teams as COVID-positive.

Motsepe emphasized the need for respect and dignity when hosting teams and vowed to enforce stricter regulations to ensure fair play.
