HAMBURG, GERMANY — More than 200 worshippers, gospel music lovers, ministers and creatives from across Europe gathered in Hamburg for Daniel Jeddman’s August Praise 2026 – The Hand of God, a powerful live album recording that brought together believers from Germany, the Netherlands and surrounding European communities.
Hosted by Ghanaian-born, Germany-based gospel artist, prophet and author Daniel Jeddman, the gathering delivered an intense atmosphere of worship, praise and spiritual celebration as attendees joined together to glorify God.
Members of the Shekinah Choir and other worshippers travelled from Düsseldorf to Hamburg to support the project, while guests from several German cities and the Netherlands also joined the gathering.
The turnout underscored the growing reach of August Praise beyond Hamburg and its developing place within the European gospel community.
A powerful night of worship
The live recording featured Daniel Jeddman alongside a remarkable line-up of gospel ministers and musicians, including Queen Judith, Seth Boakye, Michael Owusu, Betty Paha, K Frank, Shekinah Choir, Gabby McKeown, Nana Pee, Collins Amankwah, Niz Marceline and Danny Kay, among others.
From the opening moments, the atmosphere was charged with worship as singers, musicians and the congregation shared the stage in an experience centred on faith and thanksgiving.
For Jeddman, The Hand of God was not simply another musical project. It was conceived as a spiritual expression and a platform for documenting what he describes as the manifestation of God’s power through worship.
The experience will now be preserved through the forthcoming The Hand of God live album.
From Hamburg to audiences around the world
The recorded songs and worship moments are expected to be released officially on YouTube and other digital platforms, allowing people who could not make the journey to Hamburg to experience the music and atmosphere captured during the event.
Jeddman has continued to build a gospel music and ministry presence from Germany, connecting Ghanaian and African gospel culture with audiences across Europe. His music catalogue includes Favour, Wo’ara, Nyame and Confidence (Live). His music is also available on Spotify.

Growing recognition for Jeddman
Jeddman’s expanding influence has also been accompanied by industry recognition.
He was reported to have won Male Artiste of the Year – Europe at the Contemporary Gospel Music Awards in 2025. In 2026, he received four Ghana Music Awards Europe nominations, including Best Diaspora Artist of the Year, Best Diaspora Gospel Artist of the Year, Best Diaspora Gospel Song of the Year for “Nyame,” and Best Diaspora Male Vocalist of the Year.
His earlier work has also received attention beyond the gospel community, including an appearance alongside German music legend Heino at an event in Hamburg.
His published work extends beyond music as well. Jeddman is the author of Put God First, a book that documents aspects of his faith and journey between Ghana and Europe.
Strong support from Christian leaders
The 2026 August Praise project received support from a number of respected ministers, including Bishop Collins Adu-Boahene and Reverend Mrs. Gifty Adu-Boahene, whose support has been significant to the development of the August Praise platform.
Other ministers acknowledged for their support include Pastor Desire of House of Love Ministries, Apostle William Nelson of Action Chapel, and Pastor Charles of Calvary Believers Church, alongside several other men and women of God who attended and supported the project.
