Ghanaian teenagers David Oduro and Abdul Aziz Issah have finally received the green light to play for Barca Athletic this weekend.
Oduro, an 18-year-old left-back from Accra Lions, joined Barcelona’s youth team on a three-year contract, while Issah, a midfielder loaned from Dreams FC, brings added depth to Barca Athletic’s midfield.
The duo’s initial games were delayed due to documentation issues, but they remained committed, training with both the Barca Athletic and senior squads.
Their clearance was confirmed today by Barca Times, stating that the “bureaucratic issues” have now been resolved.
Both players, hailed as bright prospects in Ghanaian football, are expected to make an immediate impact and further develop within Barcelona’s elite football ecosystem. Fans and scouts alike eagerly await their official debut this Saturday.
