Mimi Boateng (@mimiboateng_) made a memorable mark during the AFCON 2008 opening ceremony in Ghana by carrying the AFCON trophy.
At the time, she was just 8 years old. In that tournament, Egypt triumphed over Cameroon with a 1-0 victory in the final, while Ghana secured third place.
Fast forward to today, Mimi Boateng is now 24 years old and has achieved an impressive milestone, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from University College London.
