Ahead of the Black Stars’ crucial clash against Niger in Morocco on September 9, 2024, coach Otto Addo remains upbeat about his team’s chances. After a tough loss to Angola in Kumasi last Thursday, the team is determined to bounce back.
Despite admitting to feeling down after the Angola game, Addo praised the mental toughness of his squad. “I was disappointed like the rest of the team, but the positive responses I received from family, friends, and even the media assured me we didn’t play a bad game,” Addo shared at the pre-match briefing.
He highlighted the team’s focus on improving both defensively and offensively during training, emphasizing the importance of confidence. “The players are looking sharp, and I believe we are prepared for tomorrow’s match,” he concluded, signaling optimism for the upcoming challenge.
