Kuami Eugene criticizes Joyce Blessing’s promotion of ‘Victory’

0

Ghanaian highlife star Kuami Eugene has expressed his disappointment in the promotional efforts behind Joyce Blessing’s song Victory.

During an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Kuami mentioned that the song could have seen greater success if more effort had been put into promoting it.

According to Kuami, Joyce Blessing did not push Victory as much as other artists, like Empress Gifty, are doing with their songs.

“I love Auntie Joyce, but she didn’t do as much as Empress is doing. Empress has really taken it personally,” Kuami remarked.

He emphasized that Empress Gifty has been consistently promoting her song across regions, unlike Joyce, who slowed down after the song went viral in December 2023.

Kuami believes this level of dedication is something other artists should learn from.

“If Justice Blay cannot play for the Black Stars, then he is not fit to be an Asante Kotoko player” – Charles Taylor

0

Former Ghanaian international, Charles Taylor has made a bold statement about the current state of Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, and the exclusion of top-performing local players like Justice Blay and many others.

“If Justice Blay cannot play for the Black Stars, then he is not fit to be an Asante Kotoko player. This is because Kotoko is bigger than the Black Stars.”

He pointed out that Kotoko players, who play almost every weekend in the Ghana Premier League, are in peak physical condition, unlike many of the foreign-based Black Stars players who do not always get regular playing time with their respective clubs.

He continued to criticize the bias within the GFA board and selection of the Blackstars. Charles Taylor hoped the future would be brighter for local players to represent the senior team.

NDC desperate to control Parliament for 6 weeks, says Bawumia

0

Vice President and NPP Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has criticized the NDC for allegedly attempting to take control of Parliament through unconventional means, with just six weeks remaining until the general elections.

This follows the Speaker of Parliament’s decision to declare four parliamentary seats vacant due to MPs switching to different political parties.

However, the Supreme Court halted this ruling, instructing Parliament to maintain the MPs’ seats while legal disputes are resolved. Despite this, the NDC claims they now hold the majority in Parliament.

Addressing a crowd in Ho, Dr. Bawumia mocked the NDC’s eagerness to gain a majority position for six weeks, claiming they are panicking because they know they will lose the upcoming elections.

He expressed confidence in the NPP’s victory, emphasizing that the party’s accomplishments will secure them a decisive parliamentary majority in December.
