Ghanaian left-back Abdul Rashid Adam has begun trials with Premier League side West Ham.
At just 18 years old, Adam is gaining valuable exposure with the club’s U18 squad under the approval of West Ham’s technical director, Tim Steidten.
Currently playing for Benab FC in Ghana’s Division 2, the talented defender has already represented Ghana’s U20 national team. Known for his versatility, Adam excels both as a left-back and left centre-back, with a flair for delivering pinpoint crosses.
Admiring Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold, Adam is eager to impress during his trial, hoping to secure a future in English football. He follows in the footsteps of fellow Ghanaian Joseph Anang, who successfully earned a place at West Ham after a similar opportunity.
