Ghana’s Black Satellites soar back to U-20 AFCON

Ghana’s U-20 football team, the Black Satellites, secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast in the WAFU B U-20 Championship semi-finals in Togo.

This win clinched their spot in the 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Coach Desmond Ofei’s team made a stunning comeback, reclaiming their continental status after missing the 2023 edition.

Ghana previously won the U-20 AFCON in 2021.
