Ghanaian culinary star, Ebenezer Smith, known widely as Chef Smith, has achieved a remarkable feat by setting the new Guinness World Record for the longest solo cooking marathon.
Chef Smith’s extraordinary effort totaled 802 hours and 25 minutes, earning him the coveted title.
Chef Smith is set to officially announce this monumental achievement at a press conference at the La Palm Beach Hotel.
Attendees are already getting a sneak peek through a banner at the conference entrance, which proudly proclaims: “Press Conference. Unveiling the New World Cook-a-thon Record Holder.
Millennium Chef Smith from Ghana with an incredible 802 hours, 25 minutes, dethroning Irish King, Alan Fisher.”
Chef Smith embarked on his cook-a-thon journey on February 1, with an ambitious goal of 1200 hours.
Although he concluded his marathon on March 6 after 820 hours, his accomplishment still surpassed the previous record, marking a significant milestone in the culinary world.
