Following Dr. Likee’s recent remarks about his mentees’ obstinacy and his potential retirement from acting to focus on business, his protégé, 39/40, has responded publicly for the first time.
Dr. Likee recently announced his decision to retire from skit-making, attributing his departure to persistent mistreatment from both colleagues and mentees since rising to fame on YouTube. His candid comments revealed underlying issues within his team, leading to reactions from his associates.
In a recent interview with blogger Zion Felix in France, 39/40 expressed regret upon hearing Dr. Likee’s account of the difficulties he has faced.
“I’m not entirely clear on the reasons behind the label, but it’s crucial for us all to learn from our mistakes. I’ve never heard him speak like that before. He described us as stubborn.”
Despite acknowledging the lack of bad blood between them, 39/40 offered an apology to Dr. Likee.
