Ghanaian actor-turned-politician John Dumelo has officially filed a criminal complaint against sitting MP Lydia Seyram Alhassan.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) submitted the complaint to the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) on December 3, 2024.

In a social media post, Dumelo highlighted the urgency of the OSP’s intervention to uphold electoral fairness. He emphasized that decisive action against the alleged misconduct is crucial to ensuring a transparent election.
This development underscores the intensity of the Ayawaso West Wuogon race, with Dumelo urging accountability and justice.
