Jon “Bones” Jones and Stipe are days away from sharing the same octagon to see who comes out with the “chips”.
Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall has interestingly been on the nerves of Jon Jones since he (Tom) swiftly run through the heavy weight division in one of the shortest possible times in the record of the UFC history.
Jones said Aspinall is clearly not on the same level as him as he’s way more advanced in titles, legacies and than Aspinall. And he Jones is now in the position to decide who he wants to fight with and not necessarily doing what fans from him nor Aspinall demands.
He clearly stated he’s not afraid of Aspinall and in his career, has seen so many great athletic fighters fell after rising to fame and talking so much. Jones advised Tom to stay calm and concentrate on his division to keep winning so his legacy will be exceedingly as he advances step by step.
Jon said he’s even willing to vacate his heavyweight championship belt after finishing off Stipe to just fight for “fun”. He then said, if there’s fight which makes sense to him, it should be Alex Pereira and not Aspinall.
