Award-winning Ghanaian actor Kalybos has recently suggested that his initial car accident may have been the result of black magic within the film industry.
In a candid interview on Game TV, Kalybos recounted a troubling encounter with a film industry figure from Kumasi, who confronted him with apparent animosity for securing a role typically reserved for Kumasi-based actors.
Kalybos described the individual’s reaction as driven by envy, stemming from the director’s decision to cast him instead of local talent.
Shortly after this confrontation, Kalybos was involved in a severe accident while traveling from Kumasi to Accra, an incident he now believes was influenced by juju.
His comments come in the wake of Portia Asare’s recent remarks regarding the detrimental effects of black magic on the Ghanaian film industry.
