A Hohoe Circuit Court has sentenced a man to four years in prison after he was found guilty of stealing musical instruments belonging to a church in the Volta Region.

The convict reportedly made away with several valuable sound equipment, including mixers, amplifiers, and other church instruments used for worship services. The stolen items were later recovered following investigations by the police.
Court Hands Down Four-Year Sentence
After hearing the facts of the case, the Hohoe Circuit Court convicted the accused and sentenced him to four years’ imprisonment. The ruling is expected to serve as a warning against theft targeting religious institutions and community organizations.
