Gospel singer opens up about love, proposals, and moving on
Award-winning gospel singer Joyce Blessing has opened up about her readiness to find love again and remarry. This comes nearly five years after her public and difficult divorce from former husband and manager Dave Joy.
In an interview with Andy Dosty, she expressed her desire to walk down the aisle once more. According to her, age is on her side and she still believes in the beauty of marriage.

Past relationship challenges
Joyce’s marriage to Dave Joy ended bitterly and made headlines across Ghana’s entertainment space. Allegations of infidelity and a DNA test controversy kept the couple in the spotlight.
The divorce took a toll on both her personal and professional life. She lost access to her official Instagram and YouTube accounts, which were allegedly taken over by her ex-husband. The couple has three children together.
Remaining hopeful and cautious
Despite all the pain, Joyce Blessing remains hopeful. She shared that she is open to love, but will approach her next relationship with caution and spiritual guidance.
“I’ve learned a lot from my past experiences, and I’m in no rush,” she told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM. “Marriage is beautiful, and I want to ensure my next step is guided by wisdom and God’s direction.”
Romantic interest and proposals
When asked about her current dating life, Joyce said she prefers to keep that private for now. However, she did admit that many men have been expressing interest in her.
“I’m not ready to talk about that one [my dating life] for now, but I get a lot of proposals from men,” she revealed. “If you are a woman and you do not get men approaching you to propose to you, then there may be a problem.”
This statement shows that she still feels confident in herself as a desirable partner. For now, she is taking her time to choose wisely.
