English-born midfielder Darko Gyabi, of Ghanaian heritage, has rejoined Plymouth Argyle FC in the English Championship on a season-long loan from Leeds United.
The 20-year-old initially joined Plymouth on loan in January 2024, making a strong impression during his ten appearances for the club.
After the 2023/24 season concluded, Gyabi returned to Leeds United to discuss his next steps. However, with Plymouth Argyle’s persistent interest, he has now committed to another season-long loan with the Pilgrims.
Plymouth Argyle announced on Tuesday, July 2, “Darko Gyabi has returned to Argyle on a season-long loan deal from Leeds United.
This marks Darko’s second term as a Pilgrim.” The club highlighted Gyabi’s significant impact during his previous loan, noting his ten appearances, including his last as a substitute.
The loan deal is subject to approval from the EFL.
