After a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Black Stars captain Mohammed Kudus is determined to lead his team to redemption.
Ghana will face Angola on November 11th and Niger on November 15th, and Kudus has called on both his teammates and fans to remain hopeful.
In a heartfelt statement shared on Instagram, Kudus expressed his regret over the recent performances.
“As the captain in these two games, I deeply apologize on behalf of the team to the people of Ghana for our matches against Sudan in Accra and Libya.”
Despite the setback, the Black Stars are eager to bounce back. Currently sitting on two points in Group F, Ghana needs to secure victories in the upcoming matches to keep their qualification hopes alive.
