Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus is set to miss West Ham United’s next three Premier League games following a red card incident in their match against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 24-year-old was sent off in the 86th minute of the game, which ended in a 4-1 defeat for West Ham.
Kudus, who had opened the scoring for his side just 18 minutes into the match, was involved in a controversial clash with Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven.
Initially shown a yellow card, a VAR review upgraded it to a straight red, resulting in his suspension. He will miss West Ham’s upcoming fixtures against Manchester United, Nottingham Forest, and Everton.
This setback follows Kudus’ stellar performance in Ghana’s 2025 AFCON qualifiers, where he led the Black Stars. Despite his red card, Kudus has had an impressive Premier League season, netting two goals in eight appearances.
