Accra, October 13, 2026 — MTN Ghana has launched its Customer Service Month celebrations by recognising the customers whose trust, loyalty and feedback have helped drive three decades of connectivity, innovation and progress.
Under the theme “Celebrating You: 30 Years of Progress, Powered by You,” the month-long programme will reward customers, encourage engagement and create more opportunities for them to influence how the telecommunications company delivers its services.

The initiative brings together customers, employees and communities through interactive activities across MTN Ghana’s physical and digital channels, reinforcing the company’s commitment to improving customer experiences and strengthening relationships with its subscribers.
Activities planned for the celebration include Customer Fora, community outreach programmes, a Self-Service Webinar and interactive challenges on the MyMTN App and social media. Customers will also participate in Lucky Seat Challenges and the Wheel of Surprises, with activities designed to make service interactions more engaging while improving access to information and support.
The programme will provide opportunities for customers to share their experiences directly with MTN Ghana, helping the company identify areas for improvement and respond more effectively to their evolving needs.
MTN Ghana to Reward SMEs Through MoMo Initiative
A major highlight of the celebration will be “MoMo Made My Business,” an initiative recognising the contribution of MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) to entrepreneurship and business development.
Three outstanding small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) merchants will be recognised and rewarded for sharing compelling stories about how MTN MoMo has supported their business growth, expanded their customer reach and created new opportunities. The winners are expected to be announced during the month.
The initiative also highlights the role of mobile financial services in helping businesses manage transactions and connect with customers in an increasingly digital economy.
MTN Ghana Customer Experience Chief Highlights Commitment
Jemima Kotei Walsh, Chief Customer Experience Officer of MTN Ghana, said the celebration was an opportunity to acknowledge the customers who have contributed to the company’s development over the past 30 years.
“This month is about celebrating the people who have powered our progress—our customers. For 30 years, their trust, loyalty and honest feedback have challenged us to keep improving. We are using this occasion not only to say thank you, but also to listen more closely and make every interaction simpler, more seamless and more meaningful,” she said.
Walsh added that delivering a positive customer experience requires commitment from every employee across the organisation.
“Every employee has a part to play in creating the experience our customers deserve. As we celebrate together, we are recommitting ourselves to turning customer feedback into action and ensuring that every touchpoint reflects how much we value them,” she stated.
Customer Service as a Shared Responsibility
MTN Ghana says the celebrations will reinforce the importance of making customer service a shared responsibility throughout the organisation.
By bringing employees and customers closer together, the activities are expected to generate practical insights that can inform improvements to products, services and customer support. They will also provide customers with additional opportunities to engage with the company, learn about available services and have their concerns heard.
As MTN Ghana marks three decades of operations, Customer Service Month represents both a celebration of its journey and a renewed commitment to putting customers at the centre of its business.
The company says it will continue learning from customer interactions and using feedback to develop experiences that respond to changing expectations.
