Kofi Gharbin, a Netherlands-based Ghanaian, has ignited a heated debate on social media, particularly on Twitter (now X), by asserting that his Dutch passport is more valuable than a PhD holder’s certificate from Ghana’s Premier University ,LEGON.
This remark has caused a stir online, with many debating the value of foreign citizenship versus advanced academic qualifications in Ghana.
Netherlands based Ghanaian Man, Mr Happiness, revealed in a video why he will not apologise for comparing his Dutch passport to a PHD. certificate in Ghana. He revealed he intends to apologise but until “Dumsor” is over in Ghana. In the video, he sipped a glass of beer and said, “There’s no dumsor in Holland.”
