Building a commendable reputation in Ghana is certainly not a joke! Yet, Afua Asantewaa by the full support of her husband got to the peak of her success and became Ghana’s highest contender at the Guiness World Record as she attempted to become the longest singing marathon holder in the world. Even though her bid was rejected, she won the hearts of Ghanaians home and abroad.
Afua gained so much attention including signing several ambassadorial deals in Ghana and outside the country, meeting top world class celebrities such as Akon and many other powerful celebrities and dignitaries.
The current accolade which embraces the Aduonum family is Afua coronated by the traditional council of chiefs to become the Queen Mother of development in Breman Essiam.
Her new name therefore should be, Nana Afua Asantewaa Anomatowaa I
