Ghanaian singer and entrepreneur Mzbel has expressed strong displeasure toward Counsellor Charlotte Oduro, claiming her past comments about her son, Okomfo Black, have caused emotional damage and contributed to him dropping out of school.
In a recent interview, Mzbel alleged that Charlotte Oduro’s public criticism of her son’s lifestyle and upbringing deeply affected the young boy, who has since struggled with confidence and mental well-being. The singer, known for her outspoken nature, revealed that she is considering taking legal or social action to hold the counsellor accountable for what she described as “public bullying under the disguise of moral guidance.”
Mzbel emphasized that as a mother, she has always done her best to raise her child responsibly and that no one has the right to judge or attack him publicly. “What Charlotte Oduro said years ago might have sounded like advice to her, but to a child, it was damaging. My son has suffered silently, and now I have to stand up for him,” she stated.
The video of Mzbel’s emotional statement has gone viral, sparking widespread conversation on social media about the line between public commentary and personal attack — especially when it involves minors. Many fans and celebrities have sympathized with Mzbel, urging respect and sensitivity when discussing children of public figures.
As of now, Counsellor Charlotte Oduro has not officially responded to the claims.
