Ras Kuuku has challenged Nacee’s identity as a gospel musician, arguing that he is primarily a producer.
Speaking with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz, he criticized the TGMA Board for restricting gospel categories to specific artists.
While DJ Slim highlighted Nacee’s gospel songs, Ras Kuuku pointed to his secular hits, such as “Kwen Kwen” and “Boys Boys.”
The Telecel Ghana Music Awards defines the Best Gospel Song category as one for gospel musicians only.
Ras Kuuku also claimed his song ‘Me Mpaebo’ is among the biggest gospel songs in the last decade.
