Speaking in a recent interview, Prophet Gaisie praised the spiritual calling and influence of Pastor Elvis, describing the Alpha Hour ministry as an inspiration to many believers across Ghana and beyond. While acknowledging the remarkable turnout and dedication of Alpha Hour’s followers, Gaisie made a notable comment about the differences between their respective roles in spiritual engagement.

“The confidence I may have to face government, systems, he may not have,” Prophet Nigel reportedly said of Pastor Elvis, highlighting that while both men are called to minister, their strengths and spheres of influence may differ.

In the commentary, the veteran prophet emphasized that ministry is about impact, not just numbers or public posture, suggesting that what God uses one leader to do can differ from how He uses another. Gaisie’s remarks were seen by some followers as an encouragement for unity and mutual respect among Christian leaders, especially in times when faith movements increasingly intersect with social and national discourse.

Pastor Elvis Agyemang has risen to prominence through the Alpha Hour initiative — a midnight prayer session that has drawn thousands online and in person, including a historic convocation at the Accra Sports Stadium that filled the 40,000-seat venue.

While the two ministry leaders operate within the same broad Christian landscape, Gaisie’s recent comments underscore that different leaders may be equipped for different kinds of spiritual engagement, especially when it comes to confronting societal systems, governance, and public influence.
