St. James Seminary SHS has secured their place in the 2024 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Quarter-final stage after a strong performance in the One-eighth contest. Competing against Tsito SHTS and Armed Forces SHTS, they finished with an impressive 50 points.
The contest started with St. James leading Round One with 21 points. Armed Forces SHTS and Tsito SHTS followed with 11 and 10 points, respectively. St. James continued their dominance in the Prudential Life Speed Race, amassing 32 points, while Armed Forces trailed with 22 points.
Despite all schools underperforming in Round Three’s ‘Problem of the Day’, St. James maintained their lead. By the final riddle round, St. James secured a comfortable victory with 50 points, advancing to the next stage of the competition.
