Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School (PRESEC), reigning champions of the National Science & Maths Quiz (NSMQ), has once again shown their academic prowess at the One-eighth Stage of the 2024 competition.
Competing against Kofi Agyei Senior High Technical School and Ghana Senior High School, Tamale, PRESEC emerged victorious with an impressive 60 points, securing their spot in the Quarter-finals.
The contest started competitively, with PRESEC quickly pulling ahead. By the end of the first round, they had 24 points, leaving Ghana SHS and Kofi Agyei SHTS trailing.
In the subsequent rounds, including the ‘Prudential Life Speed Race’ and the ‘GOIL Riddle Bonanza’, PRESEC maintained their lead, finishing with a solid 60 points. Kofi Agyei SHTS and Ghana SHS ended their NSMQ journey with 24 and 15 points, respectively.
PRESEC’s victory ensures their place in the Quarter-finals, solidifying their status as a formidable contender in the 2024 competition.
