Oh hmm ama Ghana
Ghanaian comedian OB Amponsah has voiced frustration over hefty taxation by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) on ticket sales for his upcoming 10th-anniversary comedy show.
The event, scheduled for December 21 at the Bukom Boxing Arena, has tickets priced at GH₵120 and GH₵150. However, OB disclosed on Facebook that the GRA is charging a 21.9% tax on ticket revenues, leaving him with little to no profit.

Despite these challenges, he assured fans the show would go on, even hinting at making it a free, non-taxable event if necessary. Fans and industry insiders have rallied behind him, calling for support to ensure the event’s success.
