Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has emphasized that his main goal is to secure a win against Sudan in their upcoming match on Tuesday. This fixture marks the second leg of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers, taking place in Libya.
Following a goalless draw in the first meeting, Addo has made it clear that he is not concerned with setting records but is solely focused on winning.
“I’m not interested in records; I want to win the next game. That’s all that matters. All these statistics don’t change much. We will give our best, and the effort will be rewarded,” Addo remarked during a press conference.
The Black Stars have departed Ghana for Libya and are set to have a training session at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Monday, ahead of the match, which kicks off at 13:00 GMT on Tuesday.
