On Thursday, 23rd January 2025, the Alpha Humanitarian Project team, led by the Chief Alpharian, Pastor Agyemang Elvis, and his lovely wife, Lady Mercy Agyemang-Elvis, visited the Mother Love Orphanage in Kwabenya to extend their heartfelt support to the children and caregivers of the home.
The team came bearing gifts of essential food items, toiletries, and an undisclosed amount of money to aid the orphanage in its daily operations.
This noble act of kindness, which has become a hallmark of the Chief Alpharian and his wife, was warmly acknowledged by the founder of the orphanage, Rev. John Azumah. With evident joy and gratitude, Rev. Azumah highlighted that such generous donations have been a consistent effort by the couple, occurring at least three times annually.
In his remarks, Rev. Azumah expressed profound appreciation for Pastor Agyemang Elvis and Lady Mercy Agyemang’s unwavering commitment to supporting the orphanage. He particularly commended their immense contribution to the education of the children, noting their steadfast dedication to ensuring the timely payment of school fees every term.
“This isn’t just a one-off gesture; it’s a reflection of their rare hearts and genuine concern for the vulnerable and less privileged in our society,” Rev. Azumah remarked. He added that the couple’s efforts have greatly impacted the lives of the children, providing them with opportunities to dream and build brighter futures.
The visit concluded with prayers of blessings for Pastor Agyemang Elvis, Lady Mercy Agyemang, and the entire Alpha Humanitarian Project team, for their selflessness and compassion in touching lives and making a difference where it matters most.
Some individuals have drawn comparisons to Prophet Ogyaba, criticising his choice to lavish money on his side chicks rather than using it to support the poor and needy.
