Platforms like TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and others must be taxed – Deputy Finance Minister

Dr Alex Ampaabeng, who is the current deputy minister for finance in Ghana is proposing that platforms like YouTube, Facebook, TikTok and many others should be taxed.

He believes that these platforms, when taxed, will generate huge revenue for Ghana.

This proposal from the deputy finance minister has generated lots of conversation on social media.

Most people, especially content creators have criticized his proposal.
