Ghana Police have arrested Daniel Owusu Koranteng, also known as Akwasi Amakye, in connection with the 2019 murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
Amakye is accused of leaking Suale’s photos to a politician before the journalist was assassinated near his Madina home.
The FBI uncovered critical phone records linking Amakye to Suale before his death.
After fleeing to the UK, Amakye secretly returned to Ghana last week, leading to his arrest at a hair salon in Amasaman-Adease.
