A Ghanaian prophet has suggested that the Black Stars’ recent difficulties stem from spiritual forces, claiming that some former players are actively undermining the team.
The four-time African champions are in a tough spot during the AFCON qualifiers, having only secured two points from four matches and facing the risk of missing the upcoming tournament in Morocco.
Prophet Fire Oja expressed his views during a live broadcast, asserting that the team’s poor performance is due to spiritual interference.
He mentioned that certain ex-players are working against the current squad and hinted that he would reveal their identities if asked. “It will never be easy for the Black Stars,” Oja said, advising against sidelining key players like Jordan Ayew.
Following a disappointing defeat to Sudan, Ghana must win their final two matches and hope for favorable outcomes in other games to qualify.
With their AFCON hopes dimming, the Black Stars will soon shift focus to the World Cup qualifiers, where they currently stand second in their group.
