Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako, founder of Alive Chapel International, has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from his son’s fatal road accident. Alongside his wife, Mouha Amoako, and Linda Bonsu Bempah, the three were charged with allowing an unlicensed person to drive.
Their 16-year-old son, Elrad Salifu Amoako, was behind the wheel when the accident occurred on October 12, 2024, in East Legon, leading to the deaths of two 12-year-olds, Justine Agbenu and Maame Dwomoh.
During a court appearance on October 16, 2024, tensions rose as supporters of the pastor reportedly clashed with police officers and a journalist. The police confirmed the arrest of the couple on October 15, following the accident.
